Down in Crestview, Fla., Robin Martin lost her cell phone, so she called 911 to report it missing. Police responded, explained to her that it was not a "life or death situation" and left. Thinking it was an emergency, she called again, and again and again. Finally, the police returned to her home and arrested her for abusing the 911 calling system. Want to know where that cell phone was? It was in her pocket the entire time.

Let's delve into our "Criminal Mastermind" file for this one. Roger Mayes of Jefferson County, Ala., wasn't too happy to pay before pumping at the gas station. So he expressed his angst by crashing through the glass window of the station's convenience store. As soon as he got out of the car, the cops tazed him and charged him with attempted murder. And, yes it was all caught on the surveillance tape.

Now, who says our lawmakers aren't tackling important issues? The Georgia state Senate passed a bill this week making it illegal for anyone to plant a microchip in your brain without your consent. Best part? The vote was 47-2. So if you run into state Senators Vincent Fort or Ronald Ramsey, don't fall asleep.

If ever you're doing a news report from the middle of the newsroom, always make sure that your co-workers are actually doing work and not goofing off in the background because their shenanigans will be caught on camera. That's what happened to one Australian businessman whose co-worker was caught with pictures of attractive women on his computer over his shoulder as he talked about the country's economic news.
