Pre-fall collections to shop now: Quince, Madewell and more
Fall fashion is fast-approaching.
Retailers like Madewell, Aritzia, Quince, and more are starting to drop pre-fall and early-fall collections, with an emphasis on transitional pieces you can style now and into the new season.
Though summer isn't over yet, those who like to plan and shop ahead can take note of some of the emerging fall collections below and start to thoughtfully add to their wardrobes, whether its an on-trend style or one sure to be a staple in the months and years to come.

ASOS
ASOS' new fall preview features animal prints and lace, plus standout colors like chocolate brown, blue, burgundy and green. You'll also find fringe and floral details like a satin scoop-neck cami with a fringed tie waist or an open-back gold top with subtle flower details.
Madewell and J.Crew
At Madewell, early fall styles include striped sweaters, satin pants and canvas and suede accessories. The styles appear relaxed and lived-in, as are pieces from the brand's new fall 2026 denim collection. Low-rise denim is in, as well as baggy styles and barrel-legs.
J.Crew's new arrivals feature the new Rollneck reversible cardigan in five colors, including a faded lilac and an olive green, which are echoed throughout much of the latest collection. There are lace-trim shorts and cotton poplin dresses, plus fresh floral prints.
Aritzia
Aritzia's Pre-Fall Collection just launched with an emphasis on layering, ideal for dressing between seasons. There's a balance between delicate satin, feminine lace and midweight cashmere, thoughtfully combined for interest. Trench coats, the ultimate transitional piece, are arriving in limited-edition pre-fall prints and colors, including a taupe check and a solid dark olive green.
Quince
Quince dropped its Pre-Fall Lookbook on Wednesday with stylist Nicole Chavez. The lookbook features 48 items and 12 looks styled by Chavez. Shop the pieces that suit you, or find a look you love, and shop everything you need to put it together.
The Pre-Fall Lookbook includes timeless styles like cashmere sweaters, tees, jeans and leather accessories that are sure to take you well into fall.
Uniqlo
Uniqlo's fall selection is set to include fleece jackets, coated shirt jackets, cozy cashmere sweaters, sweatshirts with stand collars, striped polos and barrel pants. Opt for a merino wool long sleeve or a cashmere HEATTECH T-shirt for a warm layer.
More pre-fall favorites
This fall, expect to see funnel-neck jackets, slim-fitting and lady jackets, double-layered shirts and sweaters, sheer apparel and earth-tones, plus bold and playful color combinations and prints.
