Winter Olympics 2014 Results: Day 14
Feb. 20, 2014— -- With only three days left of the 2014 Winter Olympics, the U.S. has pushed up to second place on day 14 with a total of 25 medals (8 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze), just behind Norway and ahead of Germany and Russia.
Maddie Bowman stole the podium today at Rosa Khutor Extreme Park, skiing in ahead of the competition and winning gold for the U.S. in the first-ever women's halfpipe in Olympic competition.
A nail-biting battle on ice between the U.S. and Canadian women's hockey teams saw the Americans win silver after falling to their rivals 3-2 in overtime.
