Justin Bieber joins list of performers at 2026 World Cup final halftime show
Justin Bieber will join the already star-studded list of performers taking the world stage at the first FIFA World Cup halftime show later this month.
Bieber joins as a co-headliner to the event alongside Madonna, BTS and Shakira, according to a post shared on the FIFA website Wednesday.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show will take place during the 2026 World Cup final at the New York New Jersey Stadium (known outside the tournament as MetLife Stadium) in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19.
The halftime show will also feature singer Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus, "the acclaimed choir of 4th and 5th graders from a public elementary school in Staten Island, New York," featuring Coldplay.

Coldplay singer Chris Martin teamed up with children's TV program "Sesame Street" to reveal the halftime show's superstar lineup earlier this year. Martin appeared in a video clip at the time with the Sesame Street Muppets, including Elmo and Cookie Monster, for the big reveal.
The World Cup final halftime show will be curated by Martin and produced by Global Citizen, the global movement dedicated to ending poverty.
The show will raise money for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which provides access to education and soccer to children around the world.
"The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I'm grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it's already helping expand access to education for children around the world," Bieber said in a statement included in FIFA's post on Wednesday.
The FIFA World Cup kicked off June 11, and the final is scheduled to take place July 19 at 3 p.m. ET.
