Emmy Awards 2026: See who is taking home the top prizes in television

The 78th Emmy Awards are underway, and television's biggest stars are taking home some of the night's top honors.

"The Pitt" headed into Monday's awards show with the most nominations. It earned 25 nods overall and is nominated in five major drama categories in Monday's telecast, including outstanding drama series, directing and writing. Noah Wyle is also looking to win his second Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama series.

Close behind in nominations is fellow HBO Max series "Hacks," which earned 24 nods total this year and is up for six major categories on Monday night, including outstanding comedy series, directing and writing. "Hacks" star Jean Smart is vying for a five-peat Emmy win for outstanding lead actress.
